Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms (So Good!)

Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms feature large white mushrooms filled with a mixture of diced crab meat, garlic, green onions, grated cheese, and mayonnaise. The mushrooms bake until the filling is golden brown, yielding a warm and savory appetizer or side with a creamy, cheesy texture and delicate seafood flavor.

Description

Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms begin with large white mushrooms cleaned and stemmed to create cups. The filling consists of finely diced crab meat and green onions combined with pressed garlic, grated mozzarella or Mexican cheese, and mayonnaise to bind the ingredients. This mixture is spooned into the mushroom caps and arranged on a baking sheet.

The mushrooms bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and develop a golden brown top while the mushrooms soften. The result is a creamy savory filling with a mild seafood essence complemented by the garlic and green onions. The texture contrasts slightly between the tender mushroom and the cheesy crab stuffing.

These stuffed mushrooms are best served hot immediately after baking to enjoy the melted cheese and moist filling. They function well as an appetizer or part of a party spread, providing a self-contained bite combining mushroom and seafood.
