Shake and Bake Pork Chops

This recipe coats pork chops in a blend of seasoned breadcrumbs before baking to create a crispy crust. The combination of spices like paprika, celery salt, garlic powder, and onion powder adds depth to the flavor. Baking at high heat crisps the coating while keeping the pork juicy. It’s a straightforward method to produce flavorful pork chops without frying.

Description

Shake and Bake Pork Chops uses a seasoned bread crumb mixture including salt, paprika, celery salt, black pepper, garlic salt, garlic powder, and onion powder to coat bone-in pork chops. The chops are first brushed with vegetable oil to help the coating adhere, then shaken inside a bag to evenly cover each piece. Baking at 425°F crisps the coating over 25 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even browning.

The result is pork chops with a crunchy exterior and tender interior. This method avoids the mess of frying while still delivering a satisfying texture and flavor. It is a practical recipe for a home-cooked pork main that pairs well with favorite side dishes.
