Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad
Description
The Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad is built around finely sliced Brussels sprouts that provide a crisp, slightly bitter base. The addition of chopped apple pieces contributes sweet, juicy bursts, while dried cranberries add tartness and chewy texture. Sunflower seeds introduce a nutty crunch, balanced by the savory smoothness of shredded Parmesan cheese.
The maple mustard dressing combines olive oil, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and garlic, delivering a lively balance of sweet, acidic, and savory notes. Tossed with the salad ingredients, it lightly coats each component without overwhelming their natural flavors.
This salad pairs well with a variety of dishes or can be served as a light lunch. It holds well in the refrigerator for several days, making it suitable for meal prep or serving across multiple meals.
Store the salad covered in the refrigerator for up to four days to maintain freshness and crunch.
