Sheet Pan Chicken, Potatoes and Green Beans

This sheet pan meal combines boneless, skinless chicken breasts with quartered gold potatoes and fresh green beans, all tossed in a mix of Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. The chicken is coated with a honey garlic butter sauce before baking, which adds a gentle sweetness and creates a balance with the savory herbs. Parmesan cheese is sprinkled on the vegetables at the end to add a subtle sharpness. This method keeps the cooking simple and minimizes cleanup by combining protein and vegetables on one pan.

Description

Sheet Pan Chicken, Potatoes and Green Beans uses a straightforward arrangement of chicken breasts, quartered gold potatoes, and whole green beans seasoned with an Italian blend, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. The chicken is pounded to an even thickness to ensure uniform cooking. A butter-based honey garlic sauce is simmered and then poured over the chicken before roasting, infusing it with mild sweetness and a rich texture. The vegetables roast alongside, becoming tender, while the final sprinkle of Parmesan cheese adds a finishing touch of savory depth to the potatoes and green beans.

The flavors develop as everything bakes together at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25 minutes. The result is tender chicken with a glossy honey garlic glaze and well-seasoned, soft vegetables. This recipe is useful for a straightforward dinner that provides protein and vegetables with minimal preparation and cleanup.

The recipe suggests an optional drizzle of balsamic glaze for added complexity if desired, enhancing the dish with a tangy finish.
