Sheet Pan Crispy Cheddar Pork Chops

These crispy cheddar-coated pork chops bake alongside seasoned Brussels sprouts and baby potatoes on a single sheet pan, simplifying the cooking process. The pork chops are breaded with a mix of panko, shredded cheddar, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder after dipping in an egg milk wash. Roasting at a high temperature creates a golden, crisp crust while keeping the pork juicy inside. The vegetables roast to tender, caramelized perfection along with the meat.

Description

The Sheet Pan Crispy Cheddar Pork Chops recipe starts by whisking eggs and milk and creating a coating of panko breadcrumbs mixed with cheddar cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Pork chops are seasoned, dipped in the egg wash, then coated evenly before being placed on a prepared sheet pan. Brussels sprouts and baby potatoes are tossed with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then arranged next to the pork to roast together at 425 °F.

This method produces pork chops with a crispy, cheesy crust and a moist interior. The accompanying vegetables roast well alongside and gain a savory contrast. Flipping the pork halfway through cooking helps even browning. The internal temperature should reach 145 °F for safe doneness.

You can serve this as a complete meal on its own, with the roasted vegetables providing hearty sides. Using a sheet pan reduces cleanup and simplifies timing.
