Shrimp Pasta

Shrimp Pasta combines tender spaghetti with shrimp seasoned by a dry rub and cooked with garlic, tomato, and a splash of beer or white wine. This recipe creates a lightly sauced pasta where the shrimp's savory flavor shines alongside fresh herbs, resulting in a savory, aromatic dish suitable for an easy dinner.

Description

This Shrimp Pasta uses peeled and deveined shrimp seasoned with a dry rub including smoked paprika to bring out smoky and warm flavor notes. The pasta is cooked al dente and set aside while the shrimp cooks quickly in olive oil along with fragrant minced garlic and diced tomato to form a light sauce. Adding beer or white wine deglazes the pan and adds subtle acidity and complexity to the dish.

The shrimp turns opaque when done, combined with fresh chopped parsley to brighten the flavor. The pasta is then tossed in the pan to coat with the shrimp and sauce, offering a balanced mixture of textures and flavors. The overall result is a moderately spiced pasta with tender shrimp and a mild, complementary sauce.

This pasta works well as a straightforward main course dinner. It pairs with simple sides or a green salad and can be served immediately to maintain the shrimp's tenderness and freshness.
