Shrimp Salad
Description
This salad uses peeled and cooked shrimp cut into small pieces for easy eating. The fresh celery and cucumber contribute a crisp contrast, while chopped green onions and hard-boiled eggs add mild sharpness and richness. The dressing blends mayonnaise with fresh lemon juice for brightness, whole grain Dijon mustard for subtle tang, and Old Bay seasoning for classic seafood spice. Salt and pepper adjust seasoning to taste.
The mixture is combined gently to coat all ingredients without breaking them down, preserving texture. The salad can be served chilled on a bed of lettuce, in sandwich bread like croissants, or alongside tortilla chips for a casual snack. It balances freshness with creamy and piquant flavors.
