Ingredients

Servings
  • 16 ounces carrot frozen, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter salted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized skillet, combine frozen carrots, butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the mixture over medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are heated through.
  3. Taste and add additional salt and pepper as needed.

Notes

  • For quicker cooking, thaw the frozen carrots by running them under warm water until completely thawed. Alternatively, you can set them in the refrigerator at least 8 hours in advance.
  • If you prefer using fresh carrots, follow the same method, but add an additional 2-3 minutes to the cooking time.
