Ingredients
- 1 pound potato gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1-½ cup milk whole
- ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
- ⅓ cup Asiago cheese shredded
- ⅓ cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
- 7 ounces ham small diced
- ½ cup peas frozen; baby/petite
Instructions
- Bring a medium-sized pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add in gnocchi and cook until they float to the top. Drain and set aside until ready to use.
- Place a large, high-sided skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Whisk in flour until combined and smooth.
- Slowly whisk in the milk until completely combined. Whisk constantly until the mixture is smooth and starts to thicken slightly. Lower the heat to low.
- Add in the shredded cheese and whisk to combine. When the mixture is smooth, remove from the heat and stir in the ham, peas, and cooked gnocchi.
- Stir together until combined. If the sauce is too thick, stir in some milk to help loosen the sauce.
