  • 1 cup pineapple fresh or store-bought, frozen chunks
  • 2 ounces rum about ¼ cup, Bacardi brand
  • ¼ - ⅓ cup coconut milk shake it before measuring, light, canned
  • ½ ounce lime juice about 1 tbsp, fresh
  • ¼ cup ice cubes crushed is best but cubes work
  • pineapple fresh pieces, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Start with ¼ cup of canned coconut milk, you can always add more if you want your pina colada to be thinner.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. For a thinner pina colada, add more coconut milk. For a thicker pina colada, add a bit more frozen pineapple chunks or a few ice cubes.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
