Slow Cooker Bacon Wrapped Maple Glazed Pork
Description
The recipe begins by seasoning the pork loin and wrapping it evenly with bacon slices. The glaze combines real maple syrup, spicy brown mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic, imparting sweetness and a mild tang. Cooking the pork in a slow cooker on low heat for about four hours allows the meat to become tender and absorb the glaze flavors.
After slow cooking, the glaze is removed from the cooker and thickened with a cornstarch-water slurry on the stove. The pork is then removed, brushed with the thickened glaze, and broiled briefly to caramelize the top, giving a golden, slightly crisp finish to the bacon and glaze.
This dish can be served as a main course accompanied by side vegetables or starches. The maple glaze balances the savory bacon-wrapped pork, making it suitable for a hearty family meal or special occasions.

- ½ cup maple syrup real
- 2 tablespoons brown mustard spicy

Instructions
- In a 6 quart slow cooker place 3 pounds pork loin roast on the bottom. Season with salt and pepper. Wrap 7 slices bacon around the pork layering it evenly on the top.
- In a small bowl whisk together the ½ cup real maple syrup, 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 3 cloves minced garlic. Pour on top of bacon-wrapped pork.

In a small bowl, whisk 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water and add to the saucepan. Let it cook until it starts to thicken 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and place on a baking sheet. Brush the top of the pork with the maple mustard sauce. Turn your oven to broil and let the pork broil for 2-3 minutes until the top is nice and golden.
