Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 onion sliced into half moons
  • 2 Tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 10 bratwurst
  • 12 oz beer choice
  • 2 Tbsp. grainy mustard
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the onions and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add garlic on top.
  3. Heat oil in large skillet. Brown brats for about 1-2 minutes per side, just until browned. (They don’t need to be cooked through!)
  4. Place the brats on top of the onions and garlic.
  5. Combine beer, mustard, minced garlic and pepper in a small bowl.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and pour over brats and veggies.
  7. Cook on high for 2 hours, or low for about 4 hours, or until brats are cooked through.
  8. Serve as is or on a bun and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
