  • 2 chicken breast boneless skinless
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can chicken broth 14.5 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup bell pepper frozen
  • 1 cup onion frozen
  • 14 ounces andouille sausage sliced into rounds
  • 1 ½ cups Parmesan Cheese shredded
  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the chicken, heavy cream, butter, and broth in your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning and paprika all over. Add the garlic, pepper and onions. Then add the sliced sausage.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken, slice it into bite-sized pieces, and set aside.
  5. Add the pasta, stir and cover. Let the pasta cook for 30 minutes until tender.
  6. Add the parmesan cheese and the chicken back to the slow cooker. Stir to combine. Then cover and let it cook for a few minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
