  • 1-2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Place chicken tenders in a slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the water.
  3. Sprinkle seasonings evenly over the top.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.

Notes

  • For a fresh take on this dish, add some freshly chopped herbs like parsley or basil after the chicken is cooked. Lemon juice also adds a nice zesty flavor and can further tenderize the chicken.
  •  Throw some diced bell peppers, green chilies, or carrots into the crock pot for a complete meal!
