Slow Cooker Guinness Beef Stew
Description
Slow Cooker Guinness Beef Stew starts by seasoning beef cubes, lightly coating them in flour, and browning them in oil. These are then combined in a slow cooker with diced onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, Guinness beer, herbs like rosemary and bay leaves, and a mix of vegetables including carrots, celery, and mini red potatoes.
The stew is cooked in the slow cooker for several hours until the meat is fork-tender and the flavors meld. The Guinness beer lends a deep maltiness to the broth, complementing the savory meat and vegetables. The potatoes and carrots provide hearty texture, making the stew substantial and filling.
Served warm and garnished with fresh parsley, this stew makes a satisfying meal best paired with rustic bread or enjoyed on its own for robust flavor and comforting warmth.
