Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Sauerkraut combines the smoky flavors of kielbasa with tangy sauerkraut for an easy, one-pot meal bursting with incredible flavor.

Ingredients
- 20 ounces kielbasa uncooked
- 2 pound bag sauerkraut reserve ½ cup of the juices
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ⅓ yellow onion diced
- 2 tablespoons brown monk fruit/allulose
- 1 tablespoon country Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet to medium and add in the olive oil and kielbasa. Sauté until browned on all sides, then remove.
- Drain the sauerkraut, reserving ½ cup of the liquid and pour it into a small mixing cup.
- Add the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar and mustard to the cup and whisk to combine.
- Add the sauerkraut to the bottom of your slow cooker insert. Add in the onions, brown sweetener, salt and pepper.
- Pour the chicken broth mixture in, the top with the browned kielbasa. Cover and cook on high for 2 ½ hours or low for 4-5 hours and serve.
