Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs Recipe

Report
Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs combines frozen meatballs, mushrooms, and a savory brown gravy cooked slowly to meld flavors and ensure tender meat. The use of Worcestershire sauce and seasonings like onion and garlic powders adds depth to the gravy, creating a rich sauce that coats the meatballs nicely. This hands-off slow cooker method delivers a comforting, hearty dish requiring minimal active preparation.

Description

This recipe uses frozen meatballs as the base, combined with sliced mushrooms and a sauce made from brown gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cooking low and slow in a crockpot allows the meatballs to absorb flavors from the gravy and mushrooms while staying tender. The gravy thickens and develops a savory profile with the help of the seasoning and sauces.

The dish requires minimal prep and is convenient for busy days, yielding a robust, saucy entree that pairs well with sides like mashed potatoes or rice. Cook times of 4-5 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high allow flexibility according to your schedule.

Leftover meatballs keep well refrigerated for up to five days, making this a practical recipe for batch cooking or meal prep.
