Slow Cooker Steakhouse Pork Tenderloin Dinner
Description
The recipe begins by layering baby potatoes, baby carrots, quartered onions, whole garlic cloves, and sliced baby bella mushrooms in a slow cooker. A seasoned pork tenderloin is placed on top, partially immersed in vegetables, and water is added to create steam and broth during cooking.
Cooking on low for 8 hours or high for 4 allows the pork to become tender and the vegetables to soften thoroughly. After cooking, fresh or dehydrated parsley is stirred in to add herbaceous notes. The meat and vegetables are removed, and the remaining broth is thickened with a cornstarch slurry heated on the stove, creating a glossy sauce to accompany the dish.
This hearty dinner provides protein and vegetables in one pot, and the sauce enhances flavor and moisture. It can be served directly with the vegetables topped with sauce, offering a balanced meal with minimal prep and cleanup.
