Ingredients
- 24 oysters
- 6 tbsp butter room temperature, unsalted
- 2 tbsp white miso
- 1-2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp lime juice fresh
- 1/2 cup scallions thinly sliced
- 1 tsp black pepper to taste, ground
- 1 lime sliced into wedges for serving
Instructions
- Build a charcoal fire and preheat it to 450°F.
- Using an oyster knife, pull oyster shells apart. Discard the top shell and loosen the oyster meat using the tip of the oyster knife.
- In a small bowl, use a spoon to stir the softened butter, miso, sriracha, and lime juice together.
- Place the oysters directly onto the grill grates, facing upward. Grill them for about 3 minutes. Remove the oysters from the grill and top them with 1/2 teaspoon of the miso butter mixture.
- Place the oysters back on the grill grates for an additional 3 minutes. Serve them right away with scallions and lime wedges. Enjoy!
