Smoked Salmon Dip

Smoked Salmon Dip blends softened cream cheese and sour cream with green onions, capers, horseradish, lemon zest, dill, hot sauce, and chopped smoked salmon. The dip is smooth with some textured bits from capers and salmon. Its combination offers a tangy, slightly spicy flavor profile enhanced by fresh herbs, making it an excellent spread or appetizer served alongside crackers, vegetables, or toasted bread.

Description

The Smoked Salmon Dip is made by processing cream cheese, sour cream, and a mix of fresh ingredients including green onions, capers, horseradish, lemon zest, dill, and hot sauce until mostly smooth. The smoked salmon is then pulsed in to maintain a bit of texture and evenly distribute flavor. The dip balances creamy richness with salty, tangy, and mildly spicy notes. It's easy to prepare and serves well chilled.

This dip pairs well with crackers, raw vegetables, or toasted bread, making it suitable as an appetizer or snack in a casual or formal setting. The flavors are brightened by fresh lemon and herbs for a refreshing taste.

Leftover dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days, maintaining freshness for multiple servings.
