Smoky Apple Cider Mezcal Margarita
Description
To prepare, a glass rim is coated with a blend of cinnamon, allspice, cane sugar, and coarse sugar after being moistened with an orange wedge. The cocktail shaker combines apple cider, mezcal, Grand Marnier, and freshly squeezed lime juice with ice, giving a crisp chill and slight dilution. After shaking for up to a minute, the mixture is strained into the prepared glass over fresh ice. The garnish of thinly sliced apples and cinnamon sticks reinforces the spiced and fruity notes.
