Soup Maker Cabbage Soup

This Soup Maker Cabbage Soup is a blended vegetable soup made by loading tomatoes, mixed peppers, courgette, spring onion, celery, carrot, quarter cabbage, and herbs into a soup maker. Cooked on a smooth setting, the soup finishes with seasoning adjusted before serving. The soup blends fresh vegetables into a smooth, flavorful broth.

Description

The recipe uses a soup maker for ease of preparation, loading the base liquid of tinned tomatoes first to prevent sticking. Fresh vegetables including diced mixed peppers of choice, courgette, spring onions, celery sticks, carrot, and cabbage are peeled, diced, and added to the machine. The soup maker cooks the mixture on a smooth soup setting for approximately 28-30 minutes depending on the model.

This produces a smooth cabbage soup seasoned with thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper, blending the fresh vegetable flavors into a warming, wholesome broth. The soup maker simplifies the cooking and blending process in one appliance without extra steps.

For less tomato intensity, half the amount of canned tomatoes can be substituted with vegetable stock. Using your soup maker's provided cooking times will ensure proper doneness. Different colored peppers can be used depending on preference without altering the recipe significantly.
