Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies – my kids' favourite cookies EVER. The perfect recipe to use up some of your sourdough starter!

Ingredients
- 125 gms butter softened, or vegetable spread
- 110 gms caster sugar
- 90 gms brown sugar very firmly packed, 1/3 cup plus 2 tsp
- ¾ tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg large
- 50 gms sourdough starter 1 ¾ oz
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 250 gms plain flour 1 cup
- 200 gms chocolate chips I use dark chocolate chunks, but feel free to use your favourite kind, 1 cup
Notes
- Once the cookies have cooled to room temperature, you can store them in an airtight container.
