Soy Sauce Noodles (Easy Noodle Sauce)
Description
The dish begins by mixing the soy sauces with sesame oil and sweet chili sauce to create a rich, flavorful sauce. Garlic cloves and sliced spring onions are cooked gently in sesame oil until softened and aromatic, providing a fragrant base. Egg noodles are then added and briefly stir-fried before the sauce is poured in and combined thoroughly, allowing the noodles to absorb the savory-sweet dressing.
The resulting noodles are glossy and well flavored, with the garlic and fresh scallions lending subtle sharpness and aroma. The sweet chili sauce adds a touch of sweetness and mild heat, while sesame oil contributes nutty notes. This straightforward assembly maximizes flavor with minimal cooking time, suitable for a quick lunch or dinner.
Optional garnishes include additional spring onions and sesame seeds for added texture and freshness. Variations may include a drizzle of oyster sauce or a touch of honey to adjust sweetness. The dish's balance depends on the quality and proportions of soy sauces and chili sauce used.
