Spaghetti and Meatball
Description
The Spaghetti and Meatball recipe blends seasoned ground beef with onion, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and parsley to form large meatballs. These are carefully mixed to unify flavors without compacting the meat too tightly, preserving tenderness. After shaping, the meatballs are browned in olive oil to develop a crust and deepen flavor.
To finish cooking, the meatballs are placed in a small oven-safe dish, covered with marinara sauce, and baked until fully cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F. This slow cooking in sauce makes the meatballs juicy and infused with tomato richness.
Serving the meatballs atop a bed of spaghetti, with grated Parmesan on top, provides a balanced dish combining protein, carbs, and savory seasoning. Making a well in the pasta on the plate ensures the meatball sits securely without rolling off.
