Spaghetti Meat Sauce

This Spaghetti Meat Sauce features ground beef cooked with onions and garlic, simmered in marinara sauce seasoned with cumin, black pepper, salt, and a hint of sugar. The sauce is thick and flavorful, perfect for coating al dente spaghetti. It’s a classic, hearty pasta meal that balances savory meat flavors with aromatic spices.

Description

The recipe starts by browning ground beef in a pot, breaking it up evenly, then cooking with finely diced onions, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper until the onions soften. Adding minced garlic briefly enhances aroma before pouring in marinara sauce, a little water, and sugar. The mixture simmers gently for 20 minutes, allowing flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.

Cooked spaghetti is drained and served topped with the rich meat sauce, or tossed together for even coating. The cumin adds a warm undertone that complements the traditional marinara and beef. The texture of the sauce is smooth with tender meat bits throughout, providing a filling meal.

The dish is straightforward and suits casual dinners. It also offers flexibility to mix pasta and sauce as preferred before serving.
