- 500 grams dried spaghetti 1.1 lbs; farro, whole wheat, or other spaghetti of choice
- 1 pint tomato small varieties such as cherry, strawberry, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 medium shallot
- 8-10 whole basil leaves
- 1/2 cup hazelnut crushed; roasted preferred but non-roasted okay
- 100 grams mozzarella cheese fresh, torn into small bite size pieces
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
