Sparkling Blueberry Ginger Mocktail Recipe
Description
The Sparkling Blueberry Ginger Mocktail begins by muddling frozen blueberries and thick slices of ginger, releasing their juices and aromatic flavors. The inclusion of fresh lime juice adds a bright citrusy tang, which complements the sweetness of the berries and sharpness of the ginger.
A small amount of stevia is added to balance the tartness, but sweetness can be adjusted to taste or substituted with honey or maple syrup. Ice is added to chill the drink, which is then topped off with chilled sparkling water, lending a bubbly and refreshing finish.
The result is a crisp, invigorating mocktail with a balance of fruity sweetness, ginger spice, and lively bubbles. It can be served casually or as an alternative to cocktails, and can be customized with fresh mint to create a variation similar to a mojito.
To avoid biting into ginger pieces, ginger can be grated or sliced thickly so it can be easily removed after muddling.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup blueberries frozen
- 1 lime juiced
- ¼ inch ginger peeled and sliced
- ¼ teaspoon stevia powder about ½ to 1 packet
- 2 Perrier bottles
- ice
Instructions
- Let the blueberries that for 10 minutes.
- Slice the ginger into thick slices.
- Muddle half the blueberries and ginger together.
- Add ice to glasses.
- Divide the muddle into the glasses over the ice cubes.

- Honey or maple syrup can replace stevia if preferred.
- Frozen blueberries disperse flavor better than fresh for muddling.
- For a mint variation, muddle fresh mint leaves with the blueberries and ginger.
