Description
This Sparkling Citrus Punch begins by mixing thawed lemonade and orange juice concentrates with cranberry juice, water, and sugar until dissolved. The mixture is refrigerated to chill and allow flavors to meld. Just before serving, it is combined with chilled lemon-lime soda and fresh lemon and orange slices over ice.
The punch balances tartness from the citrus concentrates and cranberry with sweetness from sugar and soda fizziness. The fresh citrus slices enhance the aroma and refresh the flavor with subtle fruit oils. This creates a light, sparkling drink suitable for gatherings or warm weather.
Ingredients
- 1 cup lemonade concentrate thawed, frozen
- 6 ounces orange juice concentrate thawed, frozen
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 liters lemon-lime soda chilled
- lemon fresh, sliced
- orange fresh, sliced
- ice
Instructions
- Stir the lemonade, orange juice, cranberry juice, water and sugar together in a bowl or pitcher that has a lid. Make sure all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Cover and chill the mixture for 1-2 hours.
- When you are ready to serve the punch, add the mixture to a drink server along with the soda, ice, lemons and oranges.
