Spiced Pork Tenderloin with Cranberry Sauce
Description
This recipe starts by preparing pork tenderloin coated with a spice blend of nutmeg, cloves, ground black pepper, coarse sea salt, and orange zest to infuse aromatic and citrusy notes. The coating highlights warm winter spices that bring depth to the mild pork flavor. The tenderloins are placed in a baking dish and cooked uncovered at 350°F until reaching 160°F internally, ensuring juiciness and safety.
After roasting, the meat is rested to redistribute juices, then sliced into one-inch thick pieces for serving. Each slice is generously topped with prepared cranberry relish, which adds a bright and tart contrast to the spiced meat. The dish balances savory and sweet elements for a comforting meal option.
Garnishes such as thyme and orange slices can be added for presentation and mild herbal freshness. The recipe fits well for holiday meals or autumn dinners where cranberry sauce is seasonal and appreciated. Cooking the tenderloin allowed for even exposure to seasoning and thorough roasting.
