Spicy Beef Skewers with Hummus
Description
This recipe cuts beef tenderloin into small cubes and alternates them on skewers with slices of hot peppers. The seasoning includes salt, black pepper, and optionally sumac for a gentle sour note. The skewers are cooked over high heat in a pan, giving the beef a seared exterior while keeping it tender inside.
The smooth, rich hummus served alongside adds a cooling, creamy element that offsets the heat from the peppers. A simple salad dressed lightly with olive oil and sprinkled with sumac can accompany the dish, adding freshness and balance.
This combination offers straightforward preparation with vibrant flavors across spicy, savory, and creamy textures.
