Ingredients
- 4 oz cheddar cheese sharp yellow, hand grated
- 4 oz pepper jack cheese hand grated
- ½ Cup mayonnaise Dukes brand
- ¼ cup jalapeño fresh or pickled!, chopped
- ¼ cup banana pepper fresh or pickled!, chopped
- 3 green onion chopped, using both white and green parts, stalks
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon black pepper ground
- ½ teaspoon sugar granulated white
- hot sauce Texas Pete's, Cholulus, etc. will do for a substitute, ½ teaspoon, Sriracha preferred or Franks
Instructions
- Gently mix all of these together and allow to sit in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the ingredients flavor to meld.
Notes
- Always shred your own cheese - pre-shredded varieties contain anti-caking agents that affect the texture.
- Use room-temperature cheese for the smoothest blending and best consistency.
- Refrigerate for two hours before serving to let flavors develop.
- Add extra mayo one tablespoon at a time if the spread doesn't mix together well.
