Spicy Chicken Wings
Description
Spicy Chicken Wings begin with a marinade blending chili powder, salt, black pepper, garlic and ginger paste, lemon juice, and a binder of egg, cornflour, and plain flour to help crisp the coating. Marinating the wings, ideally overnight, intensifies the flavor and keeps the meat moist during frying. The wings are deep-fried in hot oil until crisp and golden brown.
The sauce combines olive oil, garlic paste, crushed chilies, chili sauce, and tomato ketchup, sautéed briefly to meld flavors before coating the fried wings thoroughly. This layering delivers a spicy and savory profile with a hint of sweetness. The wings feature a crunchy exterior with a juicy interior due to the flour coating and frying technique. They are served hot, commonly alongside fries as a casual meal or appetizer.
The recipe notes suggest choosing wings with skin to enhance crispiness and flavor, and emphasize allowing sufficient marinating time for best results. Nutritional information is provided as a courtesy and does not guarantee exact values.
