Spiked Apple Cider

A delicious, warm beverage that's a mixture of apple juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, anise and fresh oranges. It can be spiked with either bourbon or rum.

Notes

  • You can cool the cider and then chill it in the fridge. Serve it over ice as a cold apple cider cocktail.
  • You can make the cider ahead and chill it for five days! When you’re ready to serve you can warm it in your slow cooker or serve it cold with ice.
  • Sometimes I grab Apple Cider from the store, warm that up and just add the alcohol at the end if I'm really in a hurry!
