Spinach Balls

Spinach balls are bite-sized savory snacks made from panko crumbs, seasoned with garlic and herbs, combined with beaten eggs, grated Parmesan, melted butter, and chopped onions, along with defrosted and drained spinach. Baked until golden, they are served warm with dill lemon dip for a fresh touch.

Description

Spinach Balls blend panko breadcrumbs with finely chopped onions, garlic paste, and a mixture of oregano, thyme, and basil for herbal aroma. The addition of beaten eggs and melted butter helps bind the mixture, while grated Parmesan adds a nutty, salty depth. Defrosted, thoroughly squeezed dry spinach ensures the balls are moist but not soggy.

The mixture is rolled into one-inch balls and placed on a greased cookie sheet before baking at 350°F until they are lightly golden, providing a discreet crisp exterior with a soft, flavorful interior. The garlic and herbs complement the spinach’s earthiness and Parmesan’s richness.

Spinach balls are commonly served with a dill lemon dip, which adds a bright, tangy accent to the savory bites, making them suitable as appetizers or snacks for gatherings.
