Spinach Ranch Dip

This Spinach Ranch Dip is a twist on the classic spinach dip. Everyone will want to know what your "secret" ingredient is.

Ingredients

  • 1 spinach frozen, chopped, 8-ounce package
  • 1 Ranch dressing mix 1-ounce package
  • 1 cream cheese 8 ounce package, room temperature
  • 1 sour cream 8-ounce container
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, split into two 1/2 cup portions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Defrost the spinach. Place spinach in a colander and press it with a paper towel until as much moisture as possible is removed.
  3. Mix all ingredients (1/2 cup of the cheddar), and blend well.
  4. Put it in a shallow baking dish in the oven for 20 minutes at 350°F.
  5. Remove from oven.
  6. While still hot top it with remaining cheese, heat in oven again for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove and serve with tortilla chips.
