Spinach Rolls Recipe
Description
Spinach Rolls are made by combining chopped frozen spinach that's been thawed and well drained with shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, cream cheese, and egg yolk for binding. This filling is spooned onto crescent roll dough triangles and rolled up. An egg white wash on the tops gives the baked rolls a light sheen and gentle crispness.
Baked at 375°F for about 14 to 16 minutes, the rolls develop a golden crust while the filling becomes creamy and flavorful. The mixture of cheeses adds creaminess and a mild, tangy character balanced by the spinach.
These rolls can be served warm as a snack or appetizer, offering a soft and cheesy bite with a tender filling and flaky dough exterior.
