Ingredients
For the Salad:
- 12 cups spinach fresh
- 16 oz strawberries Sliced
- 1/2 red onion Thinly Sliced
- 1 cup feta cheese crumbled
- 1 cup pecans Chopped, raw
For the Dressing:
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons poppy seeds
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk thoroughly for 2-3 minutes until all the ingredients are well combined or place all the ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake until well combined.
- Place the spinach in a large bowl or individual serving bowls.
- Add the strawberries and red onions on top for the salad mixture.
- The drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to thoroughly coat. You want enough dressing to coat the ingredients but not drown them.
- Then top with the cheese and pecans.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
