Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte Recipe
Description
This recipe starts with quickly warming and frothing one cup of milk mixed with ground cinnamon, light brown sugar, and a pinch of nutmeg. Microwave heating helps generate froth and meld the spices into the milk. Vanilla extract is added for floral sweetness. The hot espresso shots are poured into a cup first, then topped with the spiced frothy milk. Whipped cream and cinnamon garnish finish the drink, adding richness and visual appeal.
The spice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar creates the signature warm flavor profile without needing syrup. The steaming and frothed milk provides creamy texture, while espresso gives a bold coffee base. Because the drink is best fresh and warm, serving immediately preserves the froth and aroma.
This homemade version can be made with an espresso machine or by using strong brewed coffee as a substitute for espresso, allowing flexibility. It’s ideal for enjoying a flavored coffee drink at home with control over sweetness and spice levels.
