Starbucks Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino
Description
This recipe creates a matcha frappuccino by blending matcha powder with milk, vanilla bean ice cream, honey or agave syrup, and plenty of ice. The ice cream adds a creamy texture and vanilla aroma, while the honey sweetens without overpowering matcha’s slightly bitter vegetal notes. Blending creates a cold, frothy, and smooth drink resembling the popular Starbucks version.
The whipped cream topping adds richness and a light foam head, complementing the drink’s green tea flavor. The recipe is flexible to adjust milk or ice amounts for desired thickness and sweetness.
This cold, refreshing frappuccino is suitable as a treat or caffeine alternative when one seeks the unique taste of matcha combined with vanilla and creamy textures. It can be served immediately after blending for best texture.
