Starbucks Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew
Description
The beverage begins with chilled cold brew coffee mixed evenly with caramel syrup, which lends a buttery sweetness. Served over ice, the coffee base remains strong yet refreshing. On top, a salted cold foam is created by whipping heavy cream, milk, and a small amount of salt until light and frothy, either by electric mixer, handheld frother, immersion blender, or milk frother machine.
This foam adds a velvety texture and subtle savory contrast that enhances the caramel and coffee notes. The finished drink is stirred gently before pouring the foam, allowing layers of flavor and mouthfeel. The iced presentation keeps the drink refreshing as the foam slowly melds with the cold brew.
It works well as a sweet afternoon pick-me-up or a specialty treat for those who enjoy layered cold coffee drinks. Modifications like decaf coffee or added sugar can adapt the drink to personal preference.
The notes mention that brewed coffee may substitute for cold brew, and sweetness can be adjusted by adding sugar alongside caramel syrup. The use of simple ingredients also aligns with straightforward preparation at home.

- This recipe uses simple ingredients without added sugar beyond caramel, offering a balanced approach to flavor.
