Sticky Garlic Butter Salmon

Sticky Garlic Butter Salmon features salmon fillets seared with a glaze of garlic, butter, maple syrup, and barbecue sauce, then oven-roasted to finish. The glazing imparts a balanced sweet and savory flavor with a tender, flaky texture. It is typically served with fresh parsley, lemon wedges, and rice to complete the meal.

Description

This salmon preparation begins by seasoning salmon fillets simply with salt and pepper, then cooking them in a butter-garlic mixture that quickly infuses them with rich flavor. Maple syrup and barbecue sauce combine to create a glossy glaze that caramelizes lightly during the final oven roast. The salmon cooks until opaque and flaky, retaining moisture and a tender texture.

The sauce is spooned over the salmon every 30 seconds while cooking on the stovetop before the skillet transfers to the oven, ensuring the glaze coats the fish evenly and thickens. Fresh parsley and lemon wedges add brightness to the finished dish.

Serving the salmon over white or brown rice makes a complete meal. The recipe’s method highlights the balance of sweet, savory, and garlic flavors without complicated preparation.
