Strawberry Lemonade Margaritas
Description
In this cocktail recipe, strawberries are blended with lemonade and water for a smooth base. Alcoholic components including tequila and triple sec are stirred in, along with fresh lime juice for acidity. Salted rims on glasses provide a contrast to the sweet tartness of the drink. The margarita can be served over ice in salted glasses, making a refreshing beverage.
The strawberry puree gives a natural fruitiness, while the lemonade contributes citrus sweetness. Adjusting the amount of tequila and triple sec tailors strength to taste.
Fresh strawberries are preferred but frozen can be used, either defrosted or directly blended for convenience. Measurements for alcohol can be varied to personal preference, with the recipe providing a range.
