Strawberry Vinaigrette

Strawberry Vinaigrette is a smooth, bright salad dressing made by blending fresh strawberries with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and a touch of sugar. Seasoned with salt and black pepper, it adds a fruity, tangy flavor that complements green salads. The dressing can be chilled before serving to enhance its refreshing taste.

Description

This Strawberry Vinaigrette combines chopped fresh strawberries with extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar to provide a balance of sweetness and acidity. Granulated sugar helps round out the tartness of the vinegar and strawberry. Once blended until smooth, the dressing is seasoned with salt and black pepper to taste and blended again to integrate the seasoning.

The dressing has a vibrant red color and a thick, smooth consistency, making it an appealing topping for salad greens. Optional chilling allows flavors to meld and provides a cool contrast to warm weather dishes.

Leftover vinaigrette should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and used within 2-3 days to maintain freshness. Always shake well before serving as ingredients may separate.
