Stuffed Green Pepper Soup Recipe
Description
This soup begins with cooking ground beef until no longer pink, forming a savory base. Beef broth, tomato sauce, undrained diced tomatoes, chopped green peppers, and seasonings including brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper are added and brought to a boil. The soup then simmers for about 30 minutes to develop flavor and soften the vegetables.
Cooked rice is stirred in toward the end, simmered an additional 10 minutes to warm through and blend textures. The result is a thick, flavorful soup that evokes the taste of stuffed green peppers in a warm, liquid form. Optional fresh parsley garnish adds brightness.
This dish serves as an easy and satisfying soup meal, balancing meaty richness, tangy tomato, and the mild bite of green pepper.
