Stuffed Peppers Recipe

These stuffed peppers combine ground beef, rice, and a tomato-based sauce filled with savory seasonings. The filling is mixed with broth and baked inside halved bell peppers until tender. The result is a hearty and comforting dish with a balanced blend of textures from the soft rice and meat to the tender pepper shells. The optional Parmesan cheese topping adds a subtle sharpness and enhances the overall flavor. This method involves slow baking wrapped in foil, helping to keep the filling moist.

Description

Stuffed Peppers Recipe features a filling made from browned ground beef, sautéed onions and garlic, instant rice, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. These ingredients combine to form a flavorful, saucy mixture that is placed inside cleaned bell pepper halves. The peppers are placed in a baking dish with beef broth and baked covered with foil for one hour, ensuring the peppers soften and the flavors meld together well.

The pepper halves offer a tender bite while retaining some structure, and the filling balances savory, tangy, and herbaceous notes from the tomato sauce and seasoning blend. The inclusion of Worcestershire sauce adds a hint of umami depth, while the Parmesan cheese garnish adds a mild, nutty accent if used.

This recipe serves well as a main dish and can be paired with a light salad or vegetable side. It makes use of common pantry ingredients and spreads flavors throughout the filling and peppers evenly. Adjusting the number of servings automatically updates ingredient amounts for flexible meal planning.
