Summer Fruit Salad

This summer fruit salad combines a variety of fresh berries, grapes, kiwi, mango, and pineapple tossed with a zesty lime and honey dressing infused with poppy seeds and vanilla. The vibrant mix offers a balance of sweet and tart flavors and a refreshing texture that highlights the freshness of the fruits. The aromatic dressing ties the fruits together while mint leaves garnish the salad for a cool finish, making it a bright addition to warm weather meals.

Description

The Summer Fruit Salad is composed of blueberries, raspberries, two types of grapes, strawberries, kiwi, mango, and pineapple, offering a colorful array of juicy textures from firm to soft. The dressing combines lime zest and juice with honey, orange juice, poppy seeds, and vanilla extract, adding brightness, sweetness, and subtle complexity. Tossing the fruits with this dressing lightly coats them and enhances their natural flavors without overpowering them.

This salad can be served chilled as a side dish or light dessert, especially suitable for hot days or as part of a brunch spread. The fresh mint garnish adds a cool, herbaceous note that complements the citrus dressing and fruit sweetness.
