Super Easy Garlic Bread Recipe in Air Fryer

  • 1 loaf french or Italian bread sliced
  • ½ cup salted/unsalted butter softened
  • 3-4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese or more
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning or dried oregano for serving optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf into ½-inch thick slices.
  2. Prepare the Garlic Butter Spread: In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated parmesan cheese, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the Butter Mixture: Using a butter knife generously spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Air Fry the Bread: Place the bread slices, buttered side up, in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 4-6 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and reaches as crispy as you like.
  5. Repeat: Repeat the process until all the bread slices are done.
  6. Serve: Serve hot or warm sprinkling some Italian seasoning or dried oregano (if adding) on top. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust Cooking Time: Cooking times may vary based on the type of bread and your air fryer. Keep an eye on the bread to make sure it doesn't burn.
  • No air fryer? Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the garlic bread on a large sheet pan and bake until the tops are golden and the edges turn brown, about 10-12 minutes. Watch closely to avoid burning and ensure a crispy texture.
