Ingredients
- 5 tbsp softened butter , unsalted
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 1-2 tbsp freshly minced garlic cloves (or see recipe notes)
- 4 tbsp Parmesan Cheese , freshly grated
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp salt , omit the salt if you use salted butter
- 1 french baguette , or bread of your choice

Instructions
- Combine the softened butter, minced garlic, olive oil, grated Parmesan, dried parsley and salt in a bowl.
- Slice the bread into slices of equal thickness – not too thin as they will burn.
- Mist the bread slices with a little oil so they crisp up evenly. Turn the bread slices over and spread with the garlic butter, generously!, edge to edge.
- Place the bread in the air fryer basket in a single layer, placed slightly apart. Air fry at 180°C (360°F) for 3-5 minutes or until the bread is crispy at the edges and the butter has melted. Serve immediately!

- STORING AND FREEZING
- You can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a day and reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes until the bread crisps up again.
- Better yet, place the buttered slices on a tray in a single layer and freeze. You can then pack them in a suitable container where they will keep for up to three months. To cook you can simply air fry garlic bread from frozen, adding a few minutes to the cooking time.
