Super Simple Boneless Pork Loin In The Crockpot Recipe

This Super Simple Boneless Pork Loin In The Crockpot Recipe cooks a large pork loin slowly with onions, olive oil, spices, and broth for a tender, flavorful roast. The pork is seasoned and placed atop sliced onions in a slow cooker, where low heat over several hours renders it tender and juicy. The added broth keeps the meat moist and allows spices to infuse while cooking. The long, slow cooking method suits the size of the loin and promotes tender results.

Description

This recipe features a 3 to 4-pound boneless pork loin cooked in a crockpot with sliced sweet onions, olive oil, granulated garlic, onion powder, black pepper, salt, paprika, and broth. The pork is seasoned thoroughly, placed on the onions, and cooked either on low for six hours or high for four hours.

The slow cooking gently breaks down connective tissue, tenderizing the pork loin without drying it out. The onions provide flavor and moisture beneath the meat, and the broth adds juiciness and creates a flavorful base for serving or sauces.

The dish is straightforward, intended to produce a tender roast that slices easily. It suits those looking for an easy main dish with minimal prep and unattended cooking. The pork can be served sliced or shredded.

For best results, check the pork at four hours during the initial trial run to prevent overcooking, as crockpot temperatures can vary. Cooking to the safe internal temperature of 145°F lacks tenderness; longer cooking at low heat helps render fat and tenderize. Leftovers can be used for pulled pork or incorporated with vegetables added to the crockpot.

  3. Lay your pork loin on top of the onions, fat side up.

  7. Close and cook the pork loin in your crock pot on LOW for 6 hours or on HIGH for four hours. Your meat should register at an internal temperature of 145 with a meat thermometer. .

Notes

  • Check the pork at four hours during the first cook to account for crockpot temperature variations.
  • This recipe is suitable for 4 to 6-quart slow cookers; adjustments may be needed for other sizes.
  • Cooking pork loin low and slow helps render fat and tenderize; safe temperature alone doesn't guarantee tenderness.
  • Leftover pork can be shredded for pulled pork or cooked further with additional vegetables added in the crockpot.
